Discrete Reportable Transcription (DRT)
Staying on the forefront of technology changes, 360 will soon offer discrete reportable transcription (DRT). Viewed by many as the next generation in EMR development, DRT will directly interface the dictated patient information into the correct EMR section. Providers will use the known and comfortable method of dictation and transcription to enter patient data instead of using EMR templates, the latter adding precious time and three times the cost. With DRT, the completed transcription can be, upon return, deeply integrated into the EMR with each piece of discrete data sent to its respective location within the EMR.
